This Privacy Policy explains how Bright Web Limited ("we", "us") handles your information when you use Warm Turkey. The short version: your data stays on your device. We built Warm Turkey so that we never see what you track.

Your tracking stays on your device

Everything you enter in the App — habits, goals, logs, moods, cravings, notes, your motivation — is stored locally on your device only. We do not operate accounts, we do not run advertising SDKs, and what you track is never transmitted to our servers or sold to anyone.

Purchases and subscription management

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through your Apple ID; we receive no payment card details. To run subscriptions and present offers, the App uses Superwall, a subscription-infrastructure service acting as our processor. Superwall receives an anonymous identifier for your install, device information (such as model, locale and OS version), purchase and paywall events, and a few coarse, non-identifying figures from the App (how many habits you track — never which ones — whether a savings pot is set, and your day-boundary setting). Your habits, logs, moods, cravings and notes are never shared with Superwall or anyone else. Superwall's handling of this data is described in its own privacy policy at superwall.com/privacy.

Notifications

Reminders and check-ins are scheduled locally on your device by the App. They do not pass through our servers. You can turn them off at any time in the App's settings or in iOS Settings.

Data export

The App can create an export file of your data on your request. Where that file goes is entirely your choice (for example AirDrop, Files, or email); once shared, it is covered by the privacy practices of whatever service you share it to.

Deleting your data

Because your data lives only on your device, deleting the App deletes your data. There is no copy held by us to request or erase. You can also clear your data in the App via Settings.

Children

Warm Turkey is intended for users aged 17 and over and is not directed at children.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law (UK GDPR) you have rights over personal data that organisations hold about you. We hold none of your tracking data — it never leaves your hands. For the limited subscription data processed by Superwall on our behalf, you can ask us to have it deleted by contacting the email below. If you contact us for support, we will only use your email address to reply and will not add you to any marketing list.

Changes and contact

If we ever change how the App handles data (for example, adding optional cloud backup), we will update this policy and ask for your consent before anything leaves your device. The current version of this policy is always available at warmturkey.co.uk/privacy.
